This policy describes the static website deviceaid.app and the native DeviceAid iPhone app separately.

2. Website

The website is static. It provides no account, login, or contact form. Its own functions set no cookies, use no tracking storage, and embed no proprietary analytics, external fonts, videos, or social-media trackers.

Technically necessary server logs may be created when the website is requested, including IP address, time, requested path, HTTP status, referrer, and browser identifier. They support secure and stable operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The hosting provider is Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. An Apple App Store link is opened only after user action. Apple's privacy information then applies.

3. Email support

If you contact tshfm78@gmail.com, the email provider processes your sender address, message content, and any voluntary details to handle your request under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Do not send Apple Account details, serial numbers, or especially sensitive information.

4. DeviceAid app

DeviceAid requires no account and operates no proprietary cloud, analytics, tracking, telemetry, or test-result server. Manual checks run locally. The app contains no advertising or advertising- or consent-management SDKs.

Microphone Test uses microphone permission only after your explicit action. A short recording is played back locally and removed when you leave the test or use Data Management; it is not sent to DeviceAid servers.

Level and Motion uses public Core Motion functions only after user action. Queries stop when leaving the test or in the background. Raw sensor data is not retained.

5. Local data management

Data Management can remove DeviceAid-controlled local data, including temporary microphone files, local UI and AppStorage values, and controllable app caches. It does not change system permissions or data outside the app container.

6. App Store

DeviceAid is a paid app available through the Apple App Store. All current app features are included with the App Store purchase. DeviceAid offers no subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid upgrades, external digital purchases, or advertising. Apple processes the App Store purchase under its own terms and privacy information.
